Whether humans realise and accept this or not, the fact remains that irrespective of how they have physically treated and abused each other – for their only enemies were and are themselves – up to few centuries ago they had lived on this planet in abundance of everything necessary to their extension as a species. They had the space that they could populate; other life forms available for human food consumption and other uses; pristine environment; vast quantities of natural resources.

In just the last few centuries the human behaviour – comprising of voracious desires and greed – had exhausted and desecrated all that they had, without any pity or regret for what they had done to this planet. Instead of reconsidering and rehabilitating their selfish behaviors, human are instead accelerating their irrationally irresponsible consumption of all that they can possibly use up. That is because in all their endeavors, their prime concerns are self-serving, from being based only on their desires.

Prolongation of human species is not something that the ongoing generations of humans ever gave much thought to. While concerned for the welfare of their direct offsprings and even their grandchildren, after that, on the whole, they switch off their concerns for human species. Off course, using their imaginations, humans continue to devise fictitious views of human life in distant future, in form of science fiction. In these fantasies humans usually tend to prevail, and even excel, as, according to their presumptions, they, as a species, are so intelligent that their abilities of imagination shall allow them to devise methods and technologies by which the future generations of humans shall continue to survive, despite any shortcomings in the conditions of their environment.

Unfortunately, what human imagination fails to grasp is that it is impossible to acquire nourishment from eating dust and ashes while living exposed to radiation – for that is where human imagination is leading them.

Having invented, thanks to their imaginations, methods of assisting the fertility and longevity of human lives by inventions of surgical procedures, surgical equipment, and medical drugs, their imaginations fail to face physical realities of the facts that the growth of human population is already unsustainable on this planet. But instead of conducting a careful and caring mutual management of human population, human imaginations encourage uncontrolled population growth, stimulated by imagination of obtaining more financial and influential gains by humans involved in providing and supplying the expanding human populations with necessities and luxuries of life, at the expense of other life forms, and the planet’s environment and natural resources, so vital to human existence.

Without doubt there are humans currently defending Earth’s environment, as conservationists and environmentalists. Sadly, their well-meaning actions – no matter how welcoming – are nothing but a futile gesture in the face of physical calamity facing human species. If current humans were to attempt a sincere effort to evade the approaching threat to their future existence – which is of their own making – this requires a simultaneous, mutual, genuine commitment from all individual humans of all societies, of all the nations on this planet, to manage their populations and resources for benefit of all life forms on this planet.

This is highly unlikely to occur while humans remain ignorant of the physical truth of who they are, what they are, and where they are. Their imaginations prevent them from trusting each other, and does not allow for a reduction in their high levels of selfishness. For this reason it is imperative that current generations of humans are given an opportunity to learn the physical truth of everything, including who and what they are, so that humans yet to come in ten thousand, hundred thousand, and millions of years, may have a chance to exist.

This then is the fundamental purpose of this book. Without the assistance of the Revelations of a Human Space Navigator those yet to come in distant future are unlikely to make it. And that would be a pity – for a species with so much potential should have brighter future prospects than that.
